This is a revamp of an old picture I did about a year ago. One of my friends was paging through and old sketch book and stumbled across the old one. And I thought: "Good God. I can do so much better than that."

Didn't hurt that I'd just finished the Andahlia pic [link] and wanted to draw more Egyptian garb.

Every now and again I manage to finish something that makes me say, "Huh...I actually CAN draw!" I mean, hey, look: Backgrounds!

:ohnoes: Oh, wow! Nice, nice, nice! And I can totally see why all the Egypt chicks wanted a piece of that. :XD:

"You got your parents to go to Mortal Kombat?"
"Yeah."
"How did you manage that?"
"I dunno ... I think I said the phrase 'awesome' a lot."

The trick is to getting to draw like that when you're not really feeling it. This is awesome.

People tell me it's funny, so I got that going for me.

Heh. Yeah, this one kind of ended up being more of a production than I intended it to be. I just drew the pose and then was all like, well, he looks like he's leaning on something so....

And then it just went on from there. It doesn't hurt that I'm a details-fiend.

Yes. A major trick indeed. And one that I haven't really had to employ since school since I don't have any deadlines as yet. (That will change once I finally put together my wesite, though!)

And thanks for the fave! ^_^

Ahahaha Pojo's all like, "You know you want a piece of this grey ass."

I like the foot action there.

Yeah usually their drawings that end up running away from you. But the results are usually very nice. Sometimes the results are something you just stare at in udder horror and wonder how your 'sane' mind came up with that.
